A few days ago I went through a bunch of stuff that our church members brought in to donate to the pre-school. Lots of really really neat things. If you don't go to our church let me just tell you ONE of the many things I love about it. The people. People come together for whatever project we are working to complete. We have NEVER had a bake sale, yard sale, car wash, or any such thing. Not for the new fellowship hall, the Pre-school, the Clinic, the Manna Market, not for any of it. We want the community to be blessed by our church, not the other way around.
So a couple of weeks ago we put a large plastic tote in the foyer and had asked if anyone wanted to help stock the shelves of the pre-school {that Perri is making :^) } and to please do so by donating whatever they wanted. I mentioned a few things we'd like to have like a couple of stethoscopes and x-rays for our science center or some dress up clothes for the dramatic play area. (I've emptied the box twice and it's full again! Woohoo!) Traci, a veterinarian who attends our church brought in a big envelope full of dog x-rays!!! How cool is that? My boys have had a great time with them already. For instance, I held a little one up to the window and showed Mason that it was a "picture" of a wiener dog. You could see the skeleton but also an outline of the dog's body. When I told Mason that it was a wiener dog he said, "yep, and there is him's penis mommy" "Yes Mason, that is his penis but that's not why mommy called it a wiener dog, that is just what it is called." I wonder how many times mommy's of boys say the word penis or wiener in a day...because, I might be like a world record holder in this category!!

That's too cute! Our church is amazing. I'm glad things are coming together so well!
I read this right before leaving for work. I will be laughing all night long.....
Wesley used to not be able to say tortellin and he asked for "turtle weenie" for dinner. Of course all the boys thought that was hilarious and it was renamed.
No matter how many times I try to correct it, it remains turtle weenie. Hopefully at some point they will stop this before they order it in public.
Come on Tina, penis is a funny word. Still to this day, it makes me giggle.
