The Cherry On Top...

Our life is like a big chocolate sundae. Mounding over with chocolate syrup and whipped topping. It's so sweet. Three awesome little boys and a wonderful marriage living a happy life. We have all we ever wanted and more than we deserve. Then God blessed us with this....the cherry on top of our "sundae". We are beyond in love. She is amazing. She is beautiful. She is soft. She is ours.
The boys will get to meet their little sister later today when we get to go home from the hospital. Thank you for all your prayers!
Delivery was perfect. As soon as Lucy joined us she was placed on my belly all warm and gooey. Our midwife finished up the necessities on me then she and the nurses left the room for us to enjoy our gooey little bundle still on my belly. They left us alone for over an hour. I got to nurse her and cuddle her before anyone took her away to be poked and prodded. Daddy got to hold her and whisper sweet nothings in her ear before anyone else cared for her - she wasn't even wearing a diaper. It was priceless. Moments I am so grateful for and I'll never ever forget them.
My camera isn't downloading pictures into Kasey's laptop correctly so this pic is from his iphone. I'll post more tomorrow. Much love to all! Tina

Our Boys

38 Weeks

Going today for my last appointment with Mary Beth (midwife). I'll have one last non-stress test today as well and then we'll be on the downhill slope. If I don't go into labor on my own by Sunday then we'll go in that night to be induced. I can't wait to hold Lucy in my arms instead of my belly :) We'll post pictures ASAP.

Football, Soccer & Baby stuff

That pretty much sums up life here for the past 2 months. We have a couple weeks left of Football & Soccer and about 7 weeks till Lucy's due date.
Football has been fun. Jackson has had a blast. Last week he played in the mud and muck and loved every second of it. He has scored 2 touchdowns at each of his games and his team hasn't lost yet. They play the other undefeated team in the league this Saturday and Jackson is all geared up for it. It would probably do him some good to lose this one but I won't tell him that.
Soccer has been fun for Mason and Owen too. They play on the same team and have both scored here and there. Only 2 games left-good thing b/cus it's starting to be really really cold out there for practice and games.
Lucy is still growing (and growing and growing). I was diagosed with gestational diabetes but haven't had much of an issue with it. It looks like they'll take her at least a week early but we'll find out for sure with the upcoming ultrasounds.
Have a great Wednesday.

Sorry for the delay...

but, Pre-School started back on August 25th and I've been swamped with school, sports, and church stuff. Good swamped though, not bad swamped (if you get that). Speaking of pre-school, Owen started his Pre-K year. Here's a picture of the first day.
My sister and I have had more quality time since most of our children are now in school (at least in the afternoon). Owen is the only one of the kids out of 7 (almost 8) that are home from school so he gets pretty spoiled. Cathy and I have been making cute little girl tutu's, hair ribbons, and ribbon rimmed bobby socks. It's been fun.
Oh' and speaking of Cathy, here's a picture of the handsome little boy that she and her hubby Eric are in the process of adopting. His name is Cody and he's 12. Plus, he's just a sweetheart. He calls me Aunt Tina already and he loves his Uncle Kasey to pieces. Oh' and my dog, Swartz loves Cody-as you can see.

A Post For Daddy

We've missed you while you've been in Chicago. We can't wait to see you tomorrow night. Today Mason & Owen had their first soccer practice (don't they look cute). I forgot to get a picture of Jackson's first football practice yesterday (Ooopps). I'll get one tomorrow at his second practice. Jax got all A's on his papers today and even scored a 100% on his math in minutes test. Mason had fun at Kindergarten and is really wore out now after a full day of school, practice, and evening church service. We love you with all our hearts - be safe driving home.

Things here...

are BUSY. I've been in my classroom everyday this week getting things ready for pre-school to start. I'm really excited that it's almost time for it! Owen had his 4th birthday this weekend and the two older boys started school on Wednesday. Jackson started 2nd grade and Mason started Kindergarten. They both really like their teachers.
