Tonight we had Mason's birthday party. It was gorgeous outside so after eating spaghetti we all headed outdoors into the church parking lot where the kids (along with Stacey & Theresa....gotta post those pics as soon as I get them) rode their bicycles. It was nice to breath in warm spring air and see the kids get some much needed outdoor exercise. The big guys even got in a game of parking lot football. I got on Mason's big wheel toy and Kasey pushed me along the pavement like a zillion miles an hour. Awe, to be a kid again. (thank goodness I'm a mommy and I can still sneak back to the little girl days every now and then).
Mason got some really neat things including a real tool box with real little boy tools, a fish tank with 3 little gold fish, some bubble bath and color changing tablets for the tub, some new books, clothes, diego dishes, a superman cape with sound effects (we moms love sound effects, don't we?), a big boy shovel (for digging in Brad's new yard :-)), a basketball goal for the bathtub and a fishing pole.
When we got home the boys dove into all the new toys and Owen got so excited he somehow fell into the bench at our dining table. He put a pretty good gash above his left eye. I hope it's not black and swollen in the morning.

Ouch!~ Poor Mason. Sounds like Owen and his guests had a blast. I'm looking forward to the pictures.
