Our furnace went out last night. If you've ever lived in a 50 year old house before you know that if you're not continually pumping heat in then you'll be sorry...quickly. We woke up at 11:30pm to a cold and drafty 58' inside. A good friend of ours from church came right over in the middle of the night to take a look at it. He needed a part that he couldn't get right then so we woke the boys, dressed them in layers, and covered them in a pallet on our bedroom floor with about 2 dozen blankets. Thank goodness for our little space heater. Another good friend of ours came and fixed it today. God is good.
I read a quote today that said, "Life is 10% what happens and 90% how you handle it."
I'm blessed that Kasey handles life with faith and class.
