Bring on Spring!!

I'm so so ready for spring time. I've been fighting the spring bug (wanting to plant all of my flowers) so instead I planted grass seed in some bare spots in our front yard from where we had some trees taken out last year. I also seeded our back yard which was just bare. (always has been...different story). I'm watering the lawn everyday and hoping that the new little grass buds start sprouting up soon. Today I took Jax to school and then went and had a special day with my neices (Maggie & Chloe). It was fun to have a girls day. We went to sonic for lunch then went shopping to some girly places (Hobby Lobby...my boys do NOT like that place). Girls are so funny. They talk ALL the time, mostly just to hear themselves. Maggie was rattlin' on about something I don't remember what and she said (very loudly) "WELL BLESS MY LITTLE HEART" I started laughing and she said that her pre-school teacher says that all the time. I'm guessing that her teacher says "bless YOUR little heart", but it sure sounds cuter Maggie's way. Theresa had Mason and Owen this afternoon for a special day of their own. She's the best. My boys love her so much....and so do I. Tonight at church we are dedicating some bears and blankets that the ladies have made for foster care children in our area. My sis-in-law Stacey will be giving her testimony about how she grew up in foster care and struggled with different things in her childhood and how our awesome God has now raised her up into this mightly woman of God (that I love dearly). I know she's very nervous and my stomach is nervous for her too. I know her testimony will touch the hearts of everyone there and I pray that the Lord blesses her greatly for sharing these things with everyone tonight.
Stacey (she'll be calling me about putting her pic on here. She doesn't think it's safe for me to have a blog anyway......ugh, Over Protective Sister! :-) )

I hope Stacey's testimony went well at church last night. I'm sure she has an inspiring life story! I'm ready for spring too!!! Can't wait to get outside today....finally nice enough weather. I don't know about your boys, but Ethan goes stir crazy in the winter - he sleeps SOOO GOOD when we can run around outside!
*Oh, I couldn't remember the password stuff on my family blog - so I had to change it to http://www.thesnipes.blogspot.com

Stacey is one of the most beautiful people I have ever had the honor of knowing - both inside and out.

The power of God's love shines through her.
