Today we took Jackson and Owen to get their immunizations. Jackson had to get his 5 year old round and Owen got his 18 month shots. Yikes!! I never knew Jax could scream that loud. I had to hold him down (which broke my heart). Owen went in for his turn and came out with a sucker in his mouth and a smile on his face. Jackson needed a little more cheering than a dum dum sucker could give. His aunt & uncle had given him a Mcdonald's gift card for Valentine's Day so we went and got him a Happy M
eal for lunch (that seemed to do the cheering trick). Of course it about killed me because Kasey and I made a commitment at the new year that we would NOT eat a single bite of McDonald's food this whole year. So far I haven't even cared but today the smell of those french fries just loomed in the car as if the fries themselves were calling my name. But, I held my ground and I'm proud to say...I won. Whew, only 10 1/2 months to go. The boys and I went to visit my grandma at the hospital and she looked alot better today. I was really relieved. Please continue to pray for healing in her body and comfort and ease of her pain.

I just wanted to say what a sweet family you have. I found your blog thru Andi's. I'm a mom of many boys, too (and I have 1 girl)! I'm looking forward to reading more of your blogs. Oh, and congrats on winning the Battle-of-the-fries! I know that was hard!
