Happy Trails

Today after school I took my boys on a hike that they've been begging for all week. We also brought Emi and Wyatt, my niece and nephew. Although we sang "Goin' On A Bear Hunt" we never did find one. We also looked in the "swamps" for gators but, dag nabbit, couldn't find one of those either. We did see a deer, a crazy attack gray squirrel that scared the bajeebers out of me, and the biggest snapping turtle any of us have ever seen. The pee break that all 4 boys took in the woods on the side of a big hill (all together) was quite the scene. Wyatt is staying over tonight with Owen so it should be a fun time of memory making as well. Here's to a great weekend.
