Today Owen cut his own hair...UGH!

OK so little Owen is used to getting lots of attention. He's been our baby for 4 1/2years. Some behavior issues have been seen here and there since Lucy has joined us in order for him to receive the attention he so craves.
Yesterday I bought him a nice new pair of art scissors because he broke his the day before. He had been so good all day and I thought it would be a good chance to reward his behavior.
Today while Kasey and I filled out Christmas cards and talked about the boys all needing haircuts Owen decided to go to the other room and CUT his OWN hair! He proudly came into the office and said, "Hey Mommy!" "Look at me!". I didn't know if I should laugh, cry or spank him. The hormonal mommy in me took over and I cried. It was so so short in many places. I don't know how he kept from cutting skin it was so short. So it was Aunt Cathy to the rescue (so to speak) to cut the rest of Owen's hair to match up to the scalp showing rest of it. He is now the not so proud owner of a nice BALD head. And just in time for Christmas. Aaaw...the joys of motherhood. I'll be shopping tomorrow for some nice warm hats.

This is Owen on Sunday at the Christmas Parade. Look at that sweet head of blond hair.

Here are the many chunks missing from his hair.

And last....Bald Owen.
