Where has the time gone?

I've been reviewing the last couple years of posts on my blog and it has left me with this question, "Where in the world has the time gone?"
A picture of Owen playing in the snow two years ago for the very first time seems like just yesterday and forever ago at the same time. He's changed so much in some ways and in some ways not so much.(He does love being the baby). Jackson has changed from a little boy to a boy boy. He's lost his little cute 2 front baby teeth and in came these huge man size teeth in his little mouth. He goes to school all day and doesn't seem to miss me a bit. He plays video games and sings along to his favorite songs on the radio. He's loving and compassionate at times and a total stinker at other times. Two years ago I drove him to pre-school in a neighboring town while Mason and Owen had their naptime at home as Kasey worked in his home office. They were just babies.
Two years ago Mason held my finger as we walked...anywhere. He had to have his Mommy or Daddy and loved to smile. Now he's changing into a big boy. He gets embarrassed easily now and likes to have "quite time". Sometimes he tells his brothers that he just needs a "full-day break from both of them". (I don't know where in the world he would've heard something like that:). I love the little guy so much. I can't wait to see the plans that God has in store for him. One thing is for sure, in the last two years our boys have grown in Christ and that is a great feeling. When we leave the house in the mornings Owen shouts "Come on guys, lets go be Mighty World changers!"
A little more than two years ago Kasey was given an awesome opportunity. As a broker in the specialty food world (I know it sounds weird...but hey, it pays the bills), he was asked to come and work for a man in Chicago who owned his own specialty food brokerage company. He took the position and immediately struck up a friendship with the man who owns it. So for 2 years now Kasey has worked for this man with the intention that someday the business would be his. And as of January 1st, 2009 it is! One Source Sales & Marketing Company is officially up and running.
And last but not least 2 years ago I re-upholstered my dining room chairs. The nice new fabric was beautiful. Clean of oreos, pizza and all other spills and splats. And now? Well, not so much. So this month I'll be re-re-upholstering my dining room chairs. Happy Winter to me:)
